42 storey tower using Revit Structure

We recently finished working on a project in the Emirates using Revit Structures, it is a 42 storey tower rested on pile foundation. The whole architecture and structure were modeled using Revit, and the structural analysis using Etabs. In the coming posts i'll be discussing some of the problems that faced us and how they were solved , and also the use of rebar in revit structures and custom families, so keep coming back.

My first Post

I had to start a blog about REVIT, i had to tell everyone how a great tool this is and how it is shaping the future of the AEC industry.
I've been using REVIT now for the past 18 months, I've learned a great deal and i helped transform my company from using AutoCAD to REVIT. In this blog I'll be talking about Revit tips, I'll be posting tutorials, also I'll be talking about other programs and their interaction with revit in structural engineering like ETABS and ROBOT. I'll also be talking about BIM in general.
